It's been almost 3 weeks since SPM started.Stress stress stress.But I realise without God, things won't have gone as well as it has been.Not that it was awesome, but it could've been worse.haha.Thank you Lord. =)

How Great the Father's love for us.

Yesterday in the car on the way home, my bro told me a touching story he heard from BB. It was so sad, yet beautiful.

Once there was a bridge master, you know those people who control the bridge for it to go up and down. When a train comes it should be down whereas when a ship comes beneath it the bridge should be up. This bridge master had a son whom he was very close to, and whenver the father went to work, the son would follow no matter. Sometimes he fished, or just talked to his dad, as long it was spending time with him.

One day, the son was alone fishing as his dad had went to get a drink. Suddenly, from afar, he heard the sound of a train coming by. He glanced up quickly, and to his horror he saw a train moving towards the bridge, and the bridge was up! He searched the whole place, high and low for his father, but his father was not back yet. How now? the son wondered. He quickly ran to the emergency lever. He was about to pull the lever when he accidently fell in to the little gap between it. He yelped in pain and screamed for help.

Just then, the father came to his aid. He saw what was happening, and realised he had to take an action fast. The train was nearing, but if he pulled the lever he would crush his beloved son who was trapped in the lever. Trapped in a dilemma, the father had to make a choice, either to save the 100ish people on the train and crush his son, or save his son, his beloved son but kill the other people on the train.

What do you think he did?

He pulled the emergency lever.

Knowing that he had to kill his one and only son, yet he sacrificed his son for the rest of the people on the train.

Sad, but beautiful?

The father in the story is actually God, and his son, Jesus. It depicts how far our Father in heaven will go just to save our lives. He loved a people undeserving. It is slightly unparallel, as in the story, the son's death was an accident, but in real, Jesus's death was part of God's plan. Imagine the hurt and pain that was experienced by God to see his beloved son die, just to save the people he created and love. And because of that, we don't have to worry about not being cleansed from our skins, Jesus beared it all. We're cleansed from all evil, because Jesus died on the cross for us.

That's how great our Father's love is for us.

I'm so proud of myself. It took me almost a month to complete the post on my birthday. But it's done. Finally.hee!

Today in school, so funny.

It was recess time.
Aun and I went to the crowded canteen. After purchasing our food, we bumped into dennis. So we decided to sit in the elevated area together. And we talked and chatted, you know, the normal stuff.

Then, I went to throw everyone's rubbish, yes I know, that's nice of me thank you very much. =)

At that, I turned. I meant to point at aun, but it happened too fast, and instead I pointed at den, and said 'do you want to go to the toilet?'
Now dennis is some nice guy who always say yes to people, it didn't register in his brain, and he answered 'yea.'
Aun was like, 'Are you sure?'

We erupted in to laughter. LOL!

If you don't think it's funny just laugh for my sake kay? =)

Bits and pieces

1. Exams are over.
2. Han's studying now for chinese lit.
3. So's Sher who has her trials.
4. I watched tv for 2 hours today.
5. Then I slept for half an hour.
6. I practiced piano for two and a half hours.
7. Ran on the threadmill for 15 minutes, had a stitch and so walked another 10.
8. Went for piano lesson and leant how to roll. (my hand of course)
9. Before my teacher finished her dinner, her darling cute snowy lil puppy named monti, came up to me and got so excited.It was such a darling! My heart melted.
10. I'm so lazy to blog properly.Hence these weird unconnected sentences.
11. I'll upload my b'day post which was 1 month ago soon.It's half written.lol.
12. I really LOVE this song by Colbie Caillat 'falling for you'.It's so nice!
13. I can see a busy holiday coming up.

Sweet 17th because of them.

I know it's been long and I know my birthday's already over for a long time. However, I have to express my gratitude to some people who made my birthday this year so memorable, so sweet, and so like han says, happyfying! =)

Do you know how it feels to have your birthday near exams? A moment I was worrying about not being able to celebrate, a moment I was worrying no one would celebrate with me, another moment I'd be worrying about whether my parents would allow me to celebrate with my friends and then if I could, what if my friends don't get along at the celebration? There were some solitary moments where thoughts like 'My last birthday in high school, and my seventeenth is going to be so sad.' You might think I'm crazy or a psychotic person who worries too much and needs tranquilisers to calm my thoughts down, but that's what kept playing in my mind back then. You see, I love birthdays, even other people's. I love seeing people happy on their birthdays. So it was important to me.

All this worrying and stuff, my dears never failed to realise it. And these awesome people tried every way to celebrate with me. Despite the exams that were just around the corner, the following 2 girls and 2 guys took time off just to spend the afternoon with me. For this, I really thank you guys. What you guys did for me meant alot to me and it really made me feel so warm inside.

Dear miss han, miss sut, mr.den and mr.toto (who had to bluff his dad he was at tuition),

Thank God for your presence in my life. Thank you for making my 17th a sweet one and for making me feel loved. I love you people.

Prefects Annual Dinner

Whee! Prefects Annual Dinner 2009. This happened a few weeks back. 22nd of August in Armada Hotel. Haha. Sorry for such a late update.

It was AWESOME.Thanks juniors for eveything!The souvenirs were especially nice.I really enjoyed myself that night. Thanks for all the effort you put in this event. You guys made us feel really special!

i'll really miss you guys. And my plants outside the prefect room!! LOL.
